Each door is structurally reinforced to meet or exceed most building code requirements. WindPro® doors utilize a variety of reinforcement materials ranging from the common strut to a C-Channel, "R" Truss, or Vertical Post Kit. In order to meet specific building code requirements, modifications may be made to the hardware components, vertical and horizontal assemblies, and jamb brackets.

A WindPro door is simply an upgraded door that has been reinforced specifically to meet the building codes in your area.
Wind related building codes are included in many local governmental regulations. Only qualified architects, contractors, and installers should interpret building codes and similar regulations for the selection and installation of garage doors to meet all local and wind load requirements.
All you need to do is pick out the door design that you prefer and your garage door dealer/installer will determine the appropriate WindPro door for your area.
